2008 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast |
| Power, elegance, strength and finesse are ample in this generous wine. Rich, pungent aromas leap from the glass, cherry-pit, tar, aniseed, herbs, earthy, cherry liquor, marmalade, citrus blossoms, violet, rose petals, combine in layer after layer of richness that keeps coming in waves. Elaborately flavored, this extraordinarily complex wine is a full-bodied wine that is stuffed with pastry-filling cherries, dried herbs, blackberries, currants and raspberries, with exotic additions of cola, red licorice and vanilla. This wine is easy to enjoy and will continue to please for many years.
